Project Summary
In 2023, Capchem USA announced plans to establish an advanced battery chemicals production base in Lawrence County, Ohio, with a total investment of approximately $100 million. This ambitious project will be executed in two phases, with Phase I slated for operation in the second quarter of 2026.

Construction of the facility will begin in September, marking Capchem USA’s first significant investment in the United States. The new plant is expected to create 65 direct jobs and bring renewed energy and optimism to the area. This strategic investment will bolster the domestic supply chain for battery materials and related technologies, with full operations anticipated by late 2028, early 2029.

Capchem USA’s new facility will incorporate cutting-edge manufacturing processes designed to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce environmental impact.
